The Spring Games Job Fair is set to return on April 24, 2025, offering multiple opportunities for game developers and creative professionals to connect with  Finland's growing games studios.

 Organized by Games Factory Talents, this year's event will be held on April 24, 2025, at Helsinki's historic City Hall, providing a platform for career advancement within the gaming industry.​

Event Overview

The onsite event will start at 9:00 AM, featuring a series of insightful talks aimed at career development and providing updates on industry trends. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from Finland's leading studios, such as Rovio, Metactore, Nitro Games, Remedy, Social First and many others. 

Job seekers can participate in face-to-face CV and portfolio reviews. 

This in-person format fosters meaningful connections and offers a comprehensive experience tailored to both junior job seekers and industry professionals.​

CV and Portfolio Reviews

On April 24th, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, attendees can participate in CV and portfolio review sessions conducted by industry experts. These sessions operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to secure a spot at the registration. Please ensure you have your CV or Portfolio at hand. 

Registration Details

Pre-registration is mandatory for those wishing to attend the event. Doors will open at 9:00 AM, with talks starting at 9:30 AM. Participants interested in CV or portfolio reviews should book their review slots at the registration desk upon arrival and have their CV or Portfolio available.

Tampere Game Hub in collaboration with Film Tampere presents a new event for local game development ecosystem!

Welcome to Leaderboard - on April 11th, 2025 at the Tampere University Central Campus building Pinni B!

This two track event is aiming to improve leadership in the Finnish game development industry, and helping students get started in their future careers in game development by getting more tools to their mindset toolbox on leadership and self-management. The tracks consist of themed panel discussions by industry veterans from Finland and beyond.

This year we are reaching a great milestone - 10 years of Quantum Game Jam which grew into a global event! To celebrate, in collaboration with Department of Computing at University of Turku and IGDA Future program of IGDA Finland, we are organizing a one-day IT conference “ENTANGLE” in Turku with esteemed line of guest speakers.

Join us next week from Friday to Sunday, both the conference and game jam are FREE of charge to attend but registration is mandatory so that we can share the information and proceedings with the attendees.

Retro Game Jam 2024

Retro Game Jam 2024
Dates: May 17-19th, 2024
Location: Espoo Game LAB (A Grid, Otakaari 5, Espoo, Finland)

Retro Game Jam is for everyone interested in developing new games for older hardware. No prior experience on retro development is required, but we encourage to do some research of the platform of your choice before the jam.

There will be a selection of retro consoles with development tools available and of course you are welcome to bring your own. Mentoring help for getting started is available.

The jam will have a theme revealed on the spot. You can come alone or as a team. There will be short brainstorming and team forming session at the beginning. Espoo Game Hub is open for jamming around the clock. You are welcome to sleep on premises, but note that there are no sofas or anything provided by the location.

Please tell us if you have any special needs regarding movability, allergies etc. Please do not hesitate to ask anything from us! Everyone has access to the following:

  • Working space (table, chair, internet etc.)

  • Selection of retro consoles & televisions

  • Workshop / introduction to development hardware

  • Mentoring help for getting started
