November Gathering: Double Feature
/Save the date: 17th November! Yes, we have moved IGDA Finland November Gathering one week ahead! IGDA Finland is proud to present a November Double Feature Extended Cut. The pub evening is preceded by an IGDA Finland Presentations (in association with Remedy) where we have two topics:
Remedy Entertainment: Alan Wake Demo
In the June Gathering, Remedy shared some of their E3 experience with us, but Alan Wake made no appearance, to the disappointment of many. This time that disappointment will be remedied (pun intended!) as Remedy has promised to show us some gameplay from their upcoming title due to come out in Spring 2010.
Gorm Lai: Global Game Jam
Over 360 Games were made by 1600+ people in 14 time zones at the Global Game Jam 2009. Gorm Lai will give a small but intense introduction to the Global Game Jam. The goal of the talk is meant to be an explosion for your game design senses and it will consist of an educational and inspirational mix of quirky videos, interesting anecdotes and thought provoking games from GGJ 2009!
The presentation will be a local kick off for the Global Game Jam 2010. In 2010 also Finland will participate! Join us to learn more!
Space for the presentations is limited, therefore we are forced to request advance registration.
Even if you miss the talks you can still catch both Mr. Lai and the guys from Remedy at the pub!
