Casual networking with games industry folks and people interested in games is back on the menu! We will have digital games and board games for everyone to play together

There's a possibility to showcase your game demoes as well, so you are welcome to bring your project with you as usual!

And most importantly, we have pizza!

Do you like drawinging characters?
Do you want to learn from the best possible professional!?

Maroto (you might know him as Bambinomonkey) has worked in the animation industry for over 16 years for some of the largest animation and VFX companies out there - Nexus, the Mill, Sony, Psyop and more.

He has also been working with Pori-based Nopia since Teemu Erämaa founded the company in 2010.

Maroto has an extensive, impressive resume of work as a concept artist, illustrator, and art director.

In the workshop Maroto will tell some theory on illustration and he will showcase his working methods. If you enjoy drawing and have been thinking about career in games or animation, this is the workshop to be!

Maroto will participate via Zoom from Spain while IGDA Pori moderators are in Finland.
